Top 3 Tobaggan Runs in East Switzerland and Graubunden

Are you ready for a thrill?

Have you been reaching for a cuddly blanket at night to warm your bones? Sure, we had our first taste of foggy mornings this week but the sun is on the way.
Before we say ciao to the warm days there is still time to enjoy some outdoor fun. Rev up your pulse, and belt out the adrenaline scream this weekend at one my favorite Top Three Toboggan run in our area. Little and big kids are in for a thrill.

Pradaschier Adventure – Toboggan Run and Rope Park – Churwalden
This 3 kilometer and 31 curve run is the longest toboggan in Switzerland.A four seater chair lift chauffeur’s you up 450 meters. Adrenaline junkies have the choice: race down the mountain or zip through the trees.Three year olds can ride with their parents in the 2’er toboggan and eight year olds that are 135cm tall, alone. If all that adrenaline makes you hungry, enjoy a bite to eat at the mountain top restaurant. There is a playground for kids like mine, which never ran out of energy. The summer run is opened until October 18, 2017.(Ever tried a winter toboggan?)

FLOOMZER – Flumerserberg.
Race through curves, bridges, and three tunnels on the 2 kilometer toboggan run in Flumserberg. The early bird special, from 10am to 12pm offers unlimited rides. Take the Chruz chairlift to start your journey.Make sure the kids are 9 years old and 125cm to ride alone. Head for the Kabina Cable Car for a FLOOMZER pizza for complete a full day of fun! Kronberg – Bobbahn – Appenzell
The Appenzell “Bob Track” is 1450 meters long. The 2’er bobs can be reached by the Cable Car Jakobsbad- Kronberg. The Kronberg Plausch package offers the lift ticket, breakfast or plate lunch and four bob trips. I have never been here and need to mention that a couple of accidents have taken place. The owners were cleared of any charges. For more information; www.kronberg.ch

Summer tobogganing is so much fun BUT please remember, you are traveling lickety split, caution is required.

*We went to a toboggan run in Vorarlberg, but I can’t remember which one.  I will find out!
